Pragmatic Fox

// About Pragmatic Fox

Pragmatic Fox was founded on a simple idea: efficiency, speed, and the reduction of human error belong at the heart of every project. In complex production environments, small inefficiencies can quickly add up—slowing teams down, creating unnecessary repetition, and leaving more room for mistakes. A thoughtful improvement to a workflow, however small, can make a meaningful difference by saving time, improving consistency, and helping people focus on the work that matters most.

Pragmatic Fox creates practical tools that streamline everyday tasks, remove repetition, and make demanding workflows easier to manage. The goal is not to add complexity, but to build solutions that feel intuitive, dependable, and genuinely useful—tools that fit naturally into the way a project is already running.

Andrew Cohen
Founder

Andrew has been experimenting with technology since childhood. Whether deciphering software, finding more efficient ways to complete a task, or building something to solve a problem, he has always been curious about how things work—and how they could work better.

As a VFX Editor on productions including Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gen V, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andrew has worked in fast-paced environments where organization, accuracy, and clear communication are essential. His experience has given him a firsthand understanding of the challenges post production teams face every day, from managing large amounts of information to coordinating complex processes under tight deadlines.

Pragmatic Fox gives Andrew a platform to turn that experience and curiosity into tools for the film industry. Each product is built with a focus on real-world use: reducing repetitive work, improving reliability, and helping teams spend less time fighting their workflows and more time doing their best work.
